I try my best to stay in touch with the member’s of my various sites and provide them with the content that they are looking for. My Tumblr page has done a lot to help me understand what people want to see the most. I post many animated gifs and how many likes and shares tells me a lot.  Any picture or gif that gets more than 150 likes or shares show that people like this kind of content. I have been surprised that my most popular Tumblr post of all time is the one below with more than 11,000 shares and likes.  No other has come anywhere close to the 10k mark.

It's a nice GIF, I don't dispute that. It's an unusual position, more sexual than you typically use. The spankee has a very cute, round bottom and it's displayed well.

But despite my almost total lack of knowledge about how the internet works, I wonder if this is some sort of secondary consequence or accident. If someone shares this and it winds up on a page that gets an extraordinary number of views for some other reason, does that count as a share for every image on that page? Or something like that? I mean, could this have wound up benefiting from, I dunno, a picture of Kim Kardashian with a glass on her ass? It just seems odd that there'd be THAT much difference between one image and the others. Hmm.
