I can see a hot Insignia being very much a niche model but will 320bhp from a single turbo 3. 2- litre V6 engine it should be rather good fun. Vauxhall's VXR models tend to be rather good. Expect to see it in your local Vauxhall dealer around September. At around 30k it might be there for a while. Slightly more real world is the estate version of the Insignia which hits the streets in April from 17,000. Vauxhall calls it the Tourer so don't expect Volvo- size luggage space.
