spanking picturespanking picture

Above, I have posted a couple of quick pics just for the sake of conversation.  The pictures above are obviously smaller than the typical picture that I post on my page.  One shows a naughty Asian schoolgirl, clearly in an embarrassing moment and on display after her punishment.  The other shows the disadvantage of having your legs caned.  A typical well caned bottom that is marked is easy to cover up, but that skirt isn’t quite covering the fact that this young lady was just punished.

My point about these pictures, is that all the pictures that I post on my the spanking blog are clickable for a full sized image.  I tend to post pretty large thumbnails and it clearly affects how fast the pages load.  I need to know from all of you, if my page loads to slowly for you.  Please comment and let me know, so I can decide as to if I will make my page thumbnails smaller.  If I go with the smaller thumbs, it will allow more pictures with each post on the main page.  But before I make such a big change, I need your feedback.  You do not need to be a member to comment, there are no hoops to jump through, just click on the “add comment” and let me know if the page loads fast or slow for you.  Thanks!

I have the luxury of a cable internet connection (the lowest speed, but still advertized as being "up to" 5 MB). I have not had any problems with this blog loading slowly no matter what the thumbnail size. The only photo-containing site I ever have trouble with is one where the full sized images are somehow imbedded in the page (they are reduced to thumbnail size, but the entire full sized image is loading with the page; I'm not smart enough to know how that works). Another problem can come when a page is too long -- on some blogs that sort entries by category, if you click a category, all the entries, no matter how many, are on one page, and that can take a long time to load.

But as long as you use reduced-size files (not just reduced-sized views of the full-sized files) for thumbnails, and limit the total length of the page -- both of which you're already doing -- it will be plenty quick for me.

I don't have problems with the loading speed of the page with the big pictures. I also prefer the looks of the big pictures over the small ones. But then it's also attractive not to have to click "more..." to see the full entry.

In other words: I'm happy with either style, for different reasons.

Incidentally: I really like the pictures on this blog. Either big or small: they're wonderful. So thank you for posting them!

I'm on DSL and the page loads fine for me, unless there is too much traffic at the time, in whcih case everything is slower. However, the idea of getting more pics per post is a good one. You can still click them up to full size.

I have a Verizon fiber optical connection, so the time to connect to a remote server is often greater than the time to load the image. Keep 'em big.
